My First Animation - Feedback?

Hi everyone,

I decided I wanted to try and learn Mineimator and created sort of a test video today.  I would love to learn from the community, so I would appreciate any comments and suggestions you guys have since I am a complete beginner! :)

Position the rotation of the sword so he doesnt poke him self also change the ambient and the lighting so you dont get the werid black in the back

i dont think so.

the easiest way and one of the worst ones is doing like minecraft.
