Need help with FOG.

I will introduce you guys to my problem: I animate with a potato -literally- and I would like to make some FOG effect just like in-game, as shown below, so I don't need to render a huge schematic that makes my PC explodes...

I TRIED with Mine-Imator settings and also with a kind of Surface, making it only render glow but it does not seem to look nice...

then what was wrong with the MI settings? the fog in MI has like the exact same settings as in minecraft and you can customize it's size, it's distance etc

Make sure you have lighting turned on, or are rendering. (Light bulb on the camera)
