I've always envisioned this Character as having a sort of aura surrounding him whenever he uses his powers (which include speed) so I've tried to create that affect here. Suggestions welcome!

Maybe make the aura envelop him? Give him a reddish glow?

Maybe turn off the shadows for his afterimage? Make rapidly spawning block particles that attract to a block that is at a scale of 0 and color them and use alpha to make it a powerful flowing aura?

Well, I'd likely do that when he's standing still, so I get that.
