Sadly, i would go for the 2D, the 3D grass has a quite unpleasant color :/

Yeah, making a rig based on grass is not a good idea...

I like the bright green, it looks like classic Minecraft. The 3d is cool too.

if you do not see how different the ''3d grass'' looks then I think you need to go see someone

It's great!!! The way you approached making the rig is off. You should manually photoshop the grass so that only the grass is chosen, not the dirt. If the grass was grey, you prob took the mapped texture in minecraft.jar for dynamic biome grass.

 

When you photoshop, you can keep the colour

It seems as though people are only pointing out how it looks bad. I actually like this. It reminds me of classic MC. And if it's too bright for you guys, recolor it.

The 3D Grass seems like Minecraft Alpha and Mine-Imator Beta 0.5 or something.
