Microsoft video 1

So I tried to save my video and stuff and I didn't have microsoft video 1! I was very upset because I wanted to post my video on youtube. I have a window 8 just so you know... please help

It's a computer codec, not a Mine-imator one as far as I know, it has to be installed on your Pc if you wish it to be used..

..then you're either using windows 95 or a mac.. or you just did something wrong..

I don't have a mac and I don't have a windows 95... can I use another program like microsoft video 1?

I believe if you download VLC Media Player it comes with a good codec.

Microsoft Video 1 is just one video rendering codec out of the many ones you can get. Most programs that involve video (Capture devices like Hypercam or Bandicam, or video editors like Sony Vegas and Camtasia Studio 8) automatically come with their own codecs.  You don't have to choose Microsoft Video 1, where in my opinion, sucks. Try downloading more codecs here and see what you find.

VCL Comes with what you want. Microsoft Video 1 is a alright rendering codec I guess.
