  1. Hello. As I was making a lip syncing test, I came across a strange issue. Here are some photos to visualize: 1. So I added an audio track and tried to add a sound. 2. I already had my recording and ready to go, so I selected and... 3. BAM! This happens. How can I fix this, so I can try to perfect my lip syncing?
  2. Many of us know about how we want the ability to change the pitch of our sounds, but you may be wondering "isn't speed and tempo the same deal?". Well actually in terms of sound recording, no it's not the same. Let me explain each one: Pitch/Speed-Probrably the most needed of the needy compared to the other three, the ability to change the pitch of the sound will increase the speed or decrease the speed depending on high or low the pitch is. Kinda think of it in terms of tiiiimee sloowiiiing dooown and eeeverything is low pitch like. Or when it's speed up everything is very highpitch and annoying Tempo-Tempo is what would be a nice addition, you may think of tempo in the music area. The higher the tempo, the faster the music is, but the pitch of it doesn't go up, it stays the same. It's just like the feature Youtube has for video for the playback speed (it should be tempo, but yeeah) when you set the speed to 2x, the audio is really fast and the pitch stays the same. and when the speed is slow you get the weird stu-u-u-tter eff-ect bu-t t-the pi-itch stays the same. I would like a Pitch/Speed and a Tempo addition to the sound system, it would be nice to build upon it. The pitch system should be similar to Minecrafts system, a maximum of 2x pitch and a minimum of .5 pitch. We can go between those key values so it provides plenty of room. For tempo, any high amount of speed and low amount of speed. (Imagine combining the two!) I only say this because many sound effects I have, the pitches in-game are lower in pitch than in the file itself. So it's a tad bit annoying with sounds that are high pitch that should be lower pitch *looks at super mario 64 sounds* "YEAH YOU, I MEAN YOU" *shuns folder*
  3. sooo... I go to add a soud file of a screaming goat (dont ask), anyway, this happens 9:05:38 PM Action: action_tl_add_sound 9:05:38 PM Add resource: sound 9:05:38 PM filename: goat.wma 9:05:38 PM filename_out: goat.wma 9:05:38 PM load_folder: C:\Users\Aubree\Desktop 9:05:38 PM save_folder: C:\Users\Aubree\Desktop\Minecraft, And other stuff\mineimator-new\Mine-imator\Projects\trailer ...and promptly crashes. help? by the way I am using 1.0.2
  4. Decided to try my hand at syncing audio files with video. For this I used audio from the film 'Full Metal Jacket'. Rendering came out kind of wonky, though. Atleast the sound's properly synced up though. CREDITS: SKIN BY: SDWAN FILM BY: Stanley Kubrick
  5. I was really bored and I was watching Behind-The-Scenes videos for some cool videos, so I made this.

  7. Hi. so I've been using Mine-Imator for a while now, I love it, it's amazing! I've wanted to add music to my animations, but it's hard to perfect the timing when I have to save it as a video and add in music separately. Is there anyway you could add in an audio setting, to add in music or even just audio for regular Minecraft sounds! If you could add this, I would love it! Because Blender has it, yet blender is hard to navigate and use, this is easy and amazing!
  8. Yes I know that sound is the #1 thing for Demo 6 that's going to be added, but I was wondering. How will the sound be like? What do you guys think how sound would be like?
  9. Warning: You will probably not need this if you have been animating for a while, because you either already know how to do this or you have your own method/way of doing it. This Tutorial is on how I add any time of audio/sound/voiceacting to my animation, in the hopes to help out some newer people with their animations. Tell me any other tutorials that you would like me to make, I am running out of ideas.

  11. My first animation using the new Mine-imator version! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j83C-L3UaLY I hope you enjoyed!
  12. This is my first mine-imator creation for a project to promote a Halloween competition. I focused on lighting and sound to create an atmosphere to make it scary. It does not have much movement animation because I wanted to leave a lot to the imagination of the viewer. Its better viewd in full screen with the sound on. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IE5BS93RQzo http://youtu.be/IE5BS93RQzo Let me know what you think.

    Audio Syncing

I'm making an animation with a facial rig so I can set the character to lip sync to a pre-recorded voice. But with the current version of the software, audio importing is impossible. I do know you have to add the audio after in video editing software but that means I can't play the audio at the same time while animating. I can't get the voice and the facial rig to line up properly. What I'm asking is: How can I time voice audio to the video while animating? Obviously you can't get it to be exact but what techniques do you use while animating video to audio? Thanks in advance, -Mike
  15. Hello animators, i had made a small animation, but it was too messy so i eddited it and added sounds and made it longer! Enjoy the video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AljmABJzi4 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5AljmABJzi4
  16. I was thinking about a sound pack with all the minecraft sound in a folder to use windows live movie maker. So people don't need to make into this or that using Audacity. It will be very helpful for your animations. You Daivd if you want to put this in the 0.7 update or anyday. if you don't want to put this it ok i get it. peace -Middle Ages Guy
  17. Hey there fellow animators, I have made a short animation about steve enjoying his music. It's not much but i tried syncing his movements with the music.

hey can someone tell me how to make a sound from minecraft into a usable form for windows live movie maker thanks or could someone give me a link to were i could get them
  19. This is my first step out of the world of silence, since all the Mine-imator animations I made have no sound, no music, and no intro! Every single video will add a new feature I learnt, that will be in a future episode of EaM. Season 2: Tis the first time I have a proper intro! Tis the first time I use images to display text during an episode!
  20. Ok! I made a new animated video. But only problem i have is How do i add sound to the animation?

I think its a great program! I just think it needs a sound area, where you click and drag sounds, and import your own. That way, you can do it all in one. Thanks!
