  1. Well, then you have the problem of things being too crisp due no filtering.
  2. I have some schematic with grass and some trees, the filtering is enabled, and I have changed around the render depth as well, it just doesn't look right. There's no texture smoothing, the leaves are too crisp.
  3. Even if you don't use insanely complex rigs, if you make a long-ish animation of 10 +minutes, as keyframe numbers go up the program slows down. It's insanely annoying but unfortunately GameMaker seems like doesn't allow for much better.
  4. For instance trying to make particles spawn in a wall and hit the floor, bounce a bit and then stay still in the floor (like pieces of destroyed stone would do in real life). It's so annoying to get it right. You have to endlessly tweak multiply and initial speed values + the bounce factor so it looks reasonable for an insane amount of time.
  5. I can't find a sweet spot where it's night and dark, but not dark enough that you can't see stuff properly. Im using point lights and stuff, but the scenary itself is just too dark.

    Would be cool to have this as well as expanding/contracting keyframes. Very useful to adjust a walk cycle speed for instance, instead of manually having to separate each gap which is insanity.

  8. It would be awesome if Mineimator was able to automatically convert all those forniture mod packs into objects but as it stands, you would need to replace individually each object from the mods with similar looking rigs.. good luck with that.
  9. Torches are set to 100% brightness. Is there any rig where the wooden part is 0% brightness and you can adjust the top fire part's brightness?

    I managed to download it but it doesn't work. The bucket is invisible. I assume this doesnt work anymore on modern versions.

    Is it just me or does the adf.ly links go to some questionable websites? I can't download it, it asks for "allow" in a clearly malware website. Can someone post the bucket and the presets? I just wanted a simple bucket that looks like vanilla but 3d. Did you download it by any chance? can you post in on dropbox or something The links dont work for me
  12. For smoke effects making them gradually lose alpha is the reasonable thing to do, however, as it stands, Mineimator is broken in the alpha department. The render depth trick doesn't work for this, only for individual objects on the timeline.

  14. Plenty of things I've mentioned in the past were added/fixed, including fixing the bug in the "follow sunlight" shadows being delayed during instant camera jumps which is way more complex than adding these.
  15. Another basic thing that's missing: The "enter" key should work as a Play/Pause toggle. As of right now, you have to constantly move the cursor to the Play/Pause icon which is a massive of waste of time. Having it set on the enter key it's much faster. Right now it's set to "play from marker" which im sure it's much less used than Play/Pausing which everyone does constantly. Put the "play from marker" in another Key, or just let us choose in the menu. Notice that spacebar does not Play/Pause, it plays, then resets back to the starting position.
  16. It doesn't make it more complex, it makes it easier to use. Claiming that importing 50 files manually instead of importing them all at once makes it more complex is nonsense, this applies to every other objectively-workflow-improving things that I mentioned.

Adding markers, search bars, being able to import several files or sticking timeline objects so you don't have to constantly scroll up and down looking for the Camera timeline don't turn Mine-Imator into Blender or make it more complex, it makes it easier to use, less tedious. Those are just basic workflow-improvement features.

  20. Here's another one: Add a way to search in the "Parent" box, so you don't have to scroll up and down searching what you want to parent it with in an insanely long list. "Just use folders bro". Not an argument. This mentality guarantees the workflow is never improved.

Im sure Nimi agrees and will eventually add it. Just like how he will add markers and other things which "aren't needed" according to you.
