  1. In that image, it seems that blue is depth and green SSAO. Very insightful, thanks.
  2. A somewhat unrelated question, is there a way of rendering the depth map with the animation movie (separate file, of course)? I have been googling about this and can't find anything related, since not a lot of people use GM's 3D functionality, I have even seen the depth shader in the project, but I can't work out where to bind it. Compositing particles without a depth map is extremely tricky, and I can't setup holdouts since there's a couple thousand small moving objects involved. I also thought about generating the particles using a Python script into an Alembic file, but it wouldn't be possible to use particles with random colors.
  3. OMG, ARE YOU SERIOUS? @moniker This.
  4. Speaking of camera, would be nice to import camera from blender, for example,
  5. Jesus. Why is so hard o get Minecraft lighting in blender? Does someone knows how to do this?
  6. We are us or the others? \--------------------------------------------------/ Just did some tests on this shot [http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTaCWBM3Dm8] with SynthEyes (demo) and the tracking was AMAZING! I'll try to get the full version.
  7. Amazing! The backgrounds needs a little work (don't try to do the moving by yourself, use an tracking software or AE). Looking forward for part 2.
  8. I've been trying to use "chroma key" to make huge scenes without need to build an medieval village, for example. I didn't found the right software but recent tests with Blender were fine. Here is an scene from The Lord of The Rings http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vTaCWBM3Dm8. Thinking about make the movie using Minecraft shots and Mine-imator (close-ups, action scenes). [EDIT] Just found an mod that capture movements still alpha but is very easy to use. Would be great import the mocap files into Mine-imator.
