Yes if it makes the overall movement more interesting and helps sell the action more. Though in my opinion the bounce is a little extreme in this.

It may be extreme but its also depending on the tone he was going for. I personally think it isn't very distracting. It would be funny if he pulls out a giant gun that he shot him with aka a wind turbine
