I have never seen a negative reputation rating on a post before. But I do agree with The LuckyFox

2. realistic movements. Perhaps using a reference of some sort.

3. flatlands

Just tell the animator that he needs more practice. That way you don't look like an idiot saying, "Mmm, gotta make it gooder with more good animation. Make the things smoother and smooth. Mmm."
