I think this is an awesome idea. I don't think it would be too hard to implement either. Someone should make a mod for it.

A still 360 image is easy to create. I've tried it out myself the thing I had a problem with was my CPU. I went too crazy with the scenery and shadows.

But anything related to making a 360 image in Mineimator is simple.
