See-through spot in skin

Alright I was putting J_dog_g's skin onto a rig, when this happened:

You can see the pixel on the skin, it makes everything behind it invisible. You should be able to see the whites of the eyes, or the inside of the head that makes up the mouth.

Is this my fault or is this some sort of sick joke my computer seems to be playing on me?

Are you sure the skin itself doesn't have a transparent hole in it?

Go through the library and click on the eyelids and see if they have a transparent pixel or check the skins hat for a transparent pixel

i had this same problem...i can tell you the cause

 

Cause: it you use something sush as paint.net, if you erase something it becomes more and more transparent, mine imator can not cope with it so it makes it completely transparent.

 

The Fix: go back to the image editor and use the select tool and take the eye space and delete all the space in the eye.

Also make sure hide backfaces is off.

Thanks, it was just mine-imator error. I opened up the rig and the spot was gone.
