  5. Hello, I've created a mix between original gunshots and dubbed them into high tech. Futuristic weapons of mass destruction. This is my first SFX pack and my first time dubbing and mixing sounds to create one sound. This video can give you a general Idea of what kind of power I mean when I say "Mass Destruction". Oh and I also created the visual effects by mixing stock footage and created... magic. This was also a test with everything.. I'm trying to use AE/ MineImator for efficiently than before now. I am The Tan James! or that guy who is making a huge movie and has been doing it for 2 years So over these past years i have learned a couple of strategies on cinematic effects to Animations. The Best Strategy for making your animation look Cinematic is in fact the simplest. The Cinema Scope Now first you may wonder, what is a cinema scope and what does it do? Well a cinema scope is basically the black bars that you see on the top and bottom of a frame in the movies. But what does it do and how does it help? Well look at the picture below here without the Cinema Scope, And the same picture with the Cinema Scope Now I'm sure you can agree that the second image reminds you of a movie alot more, Now that we are on the same page I will show you how you can accomplish a Cinema Scope. It is possible to be made in 2 easy ways 1. Screen Ratio (Only works for 1080p Resolution, Recommended because it reduces footage cropping): Go to the render Settings of your animation and change the resolution to custom, Adjust it to 1920 x 816. And do your appropriate converting from avi to other video formats if you do so, (Handbrake is suggested for conversion). Now open you're 3rd party video editing software and make the composition 1920 x 1080 and import your animation and it should have the cinema scope applied. 2. CinemaScope.png (Useful for all animations that use the aspect ratio of 16:9) Render you project in a regular 16:9 screen Ratio (HD, 2K, and 4K contain that aspect Ratio) Once rendered, Convert your video using a 3rd party software though this is not mandatory but it is recommended to reduce lag/memory take-up. Open your 3rd Party video editing software (Windows Live will not work for this) and then create an 1080p composition/project. Import your animation and then if it is possible, Overlay the .png image (in the spoiler below over) the video and you're done! I hope this helped!   12. Cryo Animates is the guy that gave me the idea to make something like this, he's making something that has this kind of thing in it. Idk I was bored in class today and well.. I decided to make this cool looking movie looking intro. I'm not sure if this would go in Mineimator/ tests for it was a test to see if I could do this, and well... the Minecraft character was created in MineImator, the rest.. well it was all in After Effects :]

  14. Portal II ATLAS Rig Up next... P-Body My most detailed rig ever... Sorry that there's only 2 images, I kept crashing. You'll just have to see the rest yourself if you download this. I am pretty sure you'll need a beefy PC to use this. VER. II (Slight fixes/ add-ons) I cannot make the selecting from timeline anymore friendlier due to the amount of pieces there are, that is why I made it to where only the parts that's that are select-able are the parts that should only be moving, so try just selecting the joints in the arms and such instead of trying to find it on the timeline. The main pieces are the one that are labeled, ONLY move those ones. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Added More decals/ darkened arms (sorta) Forgot to add antenna (Antenna added) Download Ver. I Download Ver. II No need to credit me, remember that. :] (Claim it as yours... we are gonna have an issue)
  15. This process is somewhat difficult due to the amount of pieces and how I'm going to make them bend properly, but I'll find a way. I'd keep up to date with this topic to see the latest additions I add onto ATLAS and P-Body when the rigs are near complete. ATLAS (FINISHED) P - Body (WIP)

  19. Hai der.. I finished what I think is my most "pose-able" rig yet. SKIBBZ's Mannequin/ Humanoid Robot Rig To be honest.. I wish we had IK bending so the hips could be more realistic (: The legs were a pain to fix js...   20. So I'm making a manikin rig and well.. I've ran into an issue, the hips for positions like so but.. I'll find a way to make it work. Anyways... this rig that I'm making is well.. a manikin. Complicated as heck if you ask me (: If you have a way to make this work.. PM me because I don't think the hips are possible the way they should be.
