Hi everyone, today, ill' show you my wheelchair rig !

The sad story:

I didn't make this rig for nothing. It was for my dad, who's in a wheelchair since he was 18 (He's 55 now.)

I'm going to tell you WHY.
He was leaving a party, he still didn't know how to drive and a drunk friend suggested to drive him home. In short, they hit a post.

The hood injured his head and broke his spine, and that got him hospitalized for nearly 4 months.

He was told that he wouldn't ever be able to walk, jump, run or stand again. His parents were desperate, they thought they couldn't do anything of him, but my father never lost hope. Now he works in an enterprise called "La lumière". I never knew him without his wheelchair and I always loved him like that.
That was my motivation to create this rig.

 

I am sorry if you cry now. But I only wanted to share to you his story.

I really think this rig is pretty cool & the motivation behind it is awesome. :)

Everyone here are being touched by the story, dont get me wrong im touched to.

 

But there is one thing i dont understand.....are people allowd to go to school/college/highschool with a wheelchair?

My dad stopped secondary school before he has the accident, I can't answer
