im a modeler so "scenery"is my middle name, but i mean like the animation itself like moving Steve or something like that?

make your human feel "alive"

never leave it at a static position, animate him even if he's just standing and doing nothing

Change fog colour and mess around with the background settings.

The subtle changes can make all the difference.  And nobody likes watching an ugly animation.  Spend some time to make it feel alive and more cinematic.
