how to keyframe the ground

hi, I'm trying to keyframe the ground (grass to lava).

You're right. You can't. But using superflat in an animation/wallpaper is very bad  anyways

you need to use texture files or schematics.

also animations are supposed to be on schematics.

Yes. Click the crafting table in the top. Click the sun. Then you change it from the background normally respectively with the keyframes

I tried it, worked with time but not with the ground

You can change the texture from the ground but i don't remember where's that option.
