It's HD because, the texture's dimension size is bigger making the skin have more visible details.

He did a pattern on the shirt with thin outlines. That's a proof of the HD.

 

The skin really needs shading.

Yes it is, cuz the skin's definition is larger than default size so it count as High Definition
