Position/Rotation lock; Weapon parenting.

When animating, it would be nice to be able to have any item stay in permanent place as the user animates. (Even if parented to another object) Also a way for users to parent an item to the hand instead of the shoulder would be nice.

 

I don't have any mock-up art to explain what I mean, sorry.

Not sure what you mean with "stay in permanent place", do you mean only inherit rotation/scale and not position? Can't see how that would be useful.
When locking to an arm, the item is locked to the part beneath the bending point by default, just move its Z down a bit and it will look like he's holding it.
