I didnt copy his. I made this on my own, pardon me if it looks like i am.

It's a good start. I will suggest, try adding a bit more detail to the hilt.

It's not too bad, but it's not too good either. For a beginner though, it's good. Try adding more details to the hilt, as ZZZZane suggested, and some transparency to the blade, with some shine to it in the middle. I think the blade may be a bit too long as well.

That being said, I'd give the tips of adding a white light inside the blade and increasing the brightness to 100%, and adding as much details to the hilt as possible without overdoing it.

How do you remove a frame? In an animation
