These are my suggestions:

  • Water ripple effects, during the animation.

  • Reflectivity of a block.

  • Shadows

  • GUIs

minecraft.gui.png

  • 3D Hats and 3D armor (Not just normal armor; that's in the To-do List)

  • Non stretching texture

grass.gif

  • Automatic light from torches and glowstone (maybe lava and furnaces)

  • Smooth Bending

  • Swaying grass/leaves/wheat [Hat option/villager coat option]

[CAN'T SHOW]

  • New block editor

These are all my ideas, but some I couldn't animate as an example.

The chicken boat is a bit badly edited, but I got the image off of CaptainSparklez 'Minecraft Style'.

Thanks for looking at the ideas!

  • Shadows

You can use an idea that a fellow on the forum had. Put a cake parented to the character and put it underneath his feet, put his alpha low and its overlay black. This looks like a shadow.

  • 3D Hats and 3D armor (Not just normal armor; that's in the To-do List)

I made a tutorial,

  • Non stretching texture

What would it be useful for???

  • Automatic light from torches and glowstone (maybe lava and furnaces)

THAT IS A GOOD IDEA

  • Smooth Bending

Yep, David it will come in a future version of Mine-Imator (in a long time)

  • New block editor

What do you mean by block editor? have more blocks? Open the terrain.png in paint and modify them so you have your own blocks.

I mean depending on where the sun/moon is.

I know like hats, and resizing the normal skin and things. If you look on the .gif image, it's a thick block. Not just a normal hat or armor.

Not wanting to clone the grass block over and over again, and also if you don't have time to go onto minecraft, then MCEDIT, and then realise you got it the wrong size.

:D

Yeah.

Like captainsparklez has the chicken boats, and tennis balls, and stuff like that. This is also what the texture thing is good for. That way you can use other blocks, resize them, and make new blocks.

The block editor is kinda like saving it as it's own model, so you don't have to link them with eachother, but it still acts like it.
