"No. That's how the power dynamic used to work. Then you ran off for a year," Shale replies. "And I ran it by myself. So, clean the district then you can beg for my mercy."

"Mmmhm," Shale says sassily. "Well since your back, here's your broom and here's your mop. You get to clean the streets while I run the district as I have been for the last year."

"Oh really?" Shale asks. "Because she told me a year ago she was going undercover with Fray and Mia and a few others for a business trip and your name was not on the list."

Shale stands at the front of the crowd with her arms folded across her chest. "And where the hell do you think you have been?" she asks with a dark expression full of fury. She's now 12, as a year has passed.

"Then how about you go help yourself by checking in with Shale. I'm sure she'll be a hurricane of anger by the way you left her," Nicole says sweetly.

"This is why we can't have nice things!" Nicole says quietly but forcefully.

"You wore a disguise the entire time and you tried to do what I went undercover for!" Nicole shouts. "I was never going to take Evelyn to the dungeons! I was going to bring her back to her mother, who was worried sick!"

"You tried to prove your usefullness by sneaking around and taking advantage of my hospitality?" Nicole asks. "Bro that's messed up."

"Riley, I offered you my hospitality. I gave you and your element a district in my kingdom," Nicole says. "And this is how you repay me? By sneaking around on my ship? Going behind my back and taking advantage of my kindness?" She shakes her head. "Get off my ship."

"Why would you capitalize the last letter in your name..." Nicole pauses. She takes a shard of glass and holds the paper in front of it and looks at the reflection. She smiles grimly. "So, Riley, why would you follow us? Or stalk us for that matter." The room grows a bit frosty as Nicole gets angry.

"Write your name down on this scrap of paper, 'Yelir'," Nicole says, suspicion still on her face.

Nicole looks between him and Evelyn. "Pirate, what's your name?" she asks, suspicion in her eyes.

(You also may have noticed that neither Nicole or Evelyn have given the pirate named ??? much of a frik) "Pirate, I didn't give you permission to come down here," Nicole says. "Please, show yourself out."

A crew member walks down, followed by four ice mages. "Alright, Mages. I want you to keep that ink frozen," Nicole commands. "Carefully bring her into the Castle and put her in a guest room." She waves Ember after her. "We're back at my castle. We can search the royal libaries for a cure if we need to." (Evelyn's currently covered in ink and ice... just so you know)

I haven't forgotten about you, Nicole says. I was waiting for you to call out to me. She waves a hand and a door appears in the Shadow Realm. Nicole snickers. "I always knew I'd like you, Ember," she replies.

(Not the first. Ember has 4, I technically have three and so does Mia.) Nicole shakes her head. "Its your funeral," she mutters.

Nicole looks at Ember with an 'are you insane' look. "So basically we either get more time to find a cure that may not even exist, or we kill her now and end her misery?" she says.

(Yes. You can have up to 4) (How did Evelyn sit up considering she's mostly frozen in ice?) "Ember, what is that?" Nicole asks.

The posing is pretty akward. The legs aren't bent, though the arms are. The gun could've been scaled down as it looks large and funny.

Well that's disappointing.
