For the good of the forums? He warned him multiple times not to use it without issuing warning points. When he continued to do that, that's when they took action. He was given warning points for not listening to the mods when they said it wasn't okay. And it is rep abuse if they weren't disliking them for any particular reason. They were even complimenting the creation, there was no reason to dislike them. It was pretty obvious they were "working together" when they posted the same thing and both dislike-bombed.
And no one makes dupes of a joke topic like that without the intent of using the same joke.
 
Honestly, even if they didn't deserve to be banned, you know there's no going back. What's done is done, man.

Since I've got better things to do with my crunched time, I'm just gonna wrap this up;

Josh put it nicely in his latest PM appeal to Emu(in their own words) saying that the way they went about their actions to get the rule put on the topic was(and I quote) both unconventional and pretty irresponsible. They also said they would understand if we decided to let them keep them.
 
"Why did they get three points for what they did? What they did was justifiable."
The fact that Josh decided to play along with Heavenira's duplicate topic instead of telling him to remove/hide the topic(They seem to both be in close communication from the looks of your screenshots on Discord.) gave the impression that making a duplicate topic and running with it was A-OK. And as for the reputation abuse, the two(whether it was a collaborative effort or not) were downvoting innocent and confused members.(Due to the duplication of the topics.)
Whether you're convinced or not, I'm done here.

@xNubblyBoiMCxx He broke the rule last year and got warned, he did it again this year and got banned. Simple dude.
And they were both giving any posts a particular user made dislikes, which goes against the system.

As for Josh's 7 warning points for the banned icon, they were not all given at the same time. We removed their 'bannned' icon the first time they did it with no consequences, but then they continued to use it, and we continued to remove it, eventually giving two warning points, then another two, then eventually three(Given points go up if it's a repeated offense.) after having to keep removing their banned icon. While it wasn't in the rules at the time, it's common sense to not use it as people have faced consequences in the past for using it(usually just have their icon reset and told not to use it), and it causes confusion upon members and moderators when determining who's actually banned.
Also, you mean to tell me that this is not reputation abuse?
