Mineimator Chosing project bug

OK, The name sounds confusing and I know. But hear me out! I open mineimator. Recent projects: *None there*

 

Ok I say to myself. Ill just open the folder.

I do that and the whole animation loads up fine.

But then the recent projects thing comes back up. 

I click cancel on it then it says "Do you want to save you're project"

(well not exactly but it says something close to that)

I click no. But then the recent projects comes up again! And again! And it keeps going and going!

I tried restarting mineimator, and that didn't work. Should I try to re-download it?

Yes, or try deleting the Settings File in your Data Folder.

Deleting the settings file didn't work ill try to redownload mineimator.

 

Alright, reinstalling mineimator did NOT work. Anyone else got any ideas?

Alright, I fixed my problem. Turns out I only needed to make a new project....

I'm having a similar problem but I cannot create a new project either
