How to add 3D text?

Hello im preety new to this program so i have a problem

Im trying to make intros with it (used blender) becouse of the fast render engine 

and always then i try to add text its always 2D 

but its possible

example:

Make a PNG with the text you want,then import the texture into the program and use it on an Item,lastly uncheck the "use as sheet" and you're done.
