.blocks to .schematic

I'm trying to cut out a part of a map in MCEdit using a piece of a map I already have from Mine-imator. I tried importing the .blocks file into MCEdit but it wouldn't work. Is there anything like a converter lying around I could use?

Open the world importer from outside Mine-imator to save as .schematic, it's located in the "Data" folder of your installation folder and called "import.exe". There's no way to convert unfortunately.
