Question

I've noticed in some animations and rigs that some people provide the file in a .jar format or .rar instead of the .mproj or .object files formats. Is this intended? Doesn't it not load .jars into mine-imator or am I fine? Same with .rar.

I ment rar DERP

Can't change teh topic name.....

You mean .rar?

.rar is an archive, .jar is a Java Runtime file.

If they give you .jar, then don't trust it.

You can open .rar with 7zip

Yeah I ment RAR files, but I can't change the title now lol

I can open RAR's with zip then? Alrighty, i'll give it a shot

.jar files are basically just archives packed into a file that can be run but only if the right files are in it. You can unzip jar files as well with a program like 7zip or WinRAR.

I don't know why people use .jar for it. Even rar is stupid in my opinion because for a zip you don't need any additional programs
