Picture Cropper Suggestion

So when you get like a picture for like the "surface" object, what if your too lazy to crop it in like photoshop. I have a suggestion to add something similar to the world importer for scenery. I made this using photoshop, credit to rubin for the comic.

Hello. I would like to know more about cropping. How did you get to the screen where it says that you can crop? When I tried to crop after reading this is just moved around the camera or zoomed in or out. Please reply back, thanks.
