Rig help - Minimizing Rig Content

I'm thinking of making a Hunger Games animation with 24 players in it. Problem is, most of them are going to be fitted with rigs and you know how rigs have an endless list of... stuff in it, I guess. How do I work around it?

 

1. Making multiple animations

2. Only work on one character at a time (might be difficult)

3. Don't use rigs at all

 

Those are the three things I came up with, but if anyone has some sort of tip or trick, please tell me.

 

Also, are there any rigs with only a small amount of *stuff* in the *keyframe bar*? Thanks.

It is possible, you just have to calculate each keyframe

Just put the rig in a folder (in mineimator)

Hmm... Can't you just do the same thing by minimizing the character part selection whatever it's called?
