What is the difference between VCapture and GMCap?

What is the difference between VCapture and GMCap?

What are their differences in velocity, quality, and size of the .avi exported? What should I use? Why? And what is the difference of the GMCap.dll and GMCap.gex?

There shouldn't be a difference in quality or filesize of the .avi, since that's up to the codec. In an old Mine-imator version only one was available, then I switched to the other because it was supposedly better and some people complained about the exporting not working anymore, so I added an option.
