Redstone Trails?

Hello guys,

 

 

Excuse any noobishness in this post...

 

 

 

Anyway, onto the help that I need.

 

I recently downloaded Mine-imator (which is amazing, alot less complicated than Maya or Blender (refer to above picture for Advanced  Users of either program)) and I'm having trouble with some redstone. I can get it placed onto the ground okay, but I can't get it to go in a trail, it just stays like a dot. 

 

 

Is there any way to make it "trail"?

Redstone wires doesn't connect to other wires unless they are in a schematic. Build your redstone contraption in MC, then import it into MIne-imator.

Another question.

 

How do I make it actually light up? I want it to be off at first then lit up once a lever is activated. Is a schematic required for that aswell?

Have a schematic with lit and unlit on top of each other, switch them visible as you need them
