zw98 reacted to Winterin Animations in GLaDOS' Advanced Steve Rig v.1.1 for Mine-imator v0.6.2
If used in videos, please give a link to here and my channel, which is: http://www.youtube.com/Cosokin. Thank you.
Hello non-robots! Today I am presenting my Steve Rig v.1.1!
This was not based off of anyone's rigs, it was entirely made by scratch by me. Don't post 'This is a copy of _____'s rig! You can see that it looks just like it and it has stolen ideas!!!!!!!!!!!!" because I'll just ignore you. The method and ideas were not stolen.
Check out the tutorial by gwydion1:

zw98 reacted to david in Dev update #1: Mine-imator status and World importer preview
As you may have noticed, there have not been much action in the development blog during the last two months.
This is mainly because I have been busy with other projects and schoolwork. One of these projects has been a Minecraft themed Team Fortress 2 map.
To play, click here and press "Play now!" The server cycles between this and two other maps.
I have however managed to complete the Import from world option that will feature in the upcoming 0.7 version of Mine-imator. Other features you can expect are:
Support for the new texture format and animated textures Particle effects (basically animated GIFs that can follow a certain movement pattern) Improved instances system with folders+expandable/collapsable items Separate timelines for body parts The Ender Dragon and Blaze mobs Also, I will try to port the program to the updated GM:Studio engine, which will allow for better performance with larger schematics and eventually updated 3D graphics.
The world importer can be downloaded here: http://www.stuffbydavid.com/downloads/Schematic exporter.zip
This program will in the future be embedded into Mine-imator and accessed with a simple click, the selected region will then automatically be imported into your animation.
Please report any issues/bugs if you find any. There's currently some problems with exporting areas with a width/length of 1. I'm looking into that.
