Would unlocking a body part from a character be a future possibility?  Like when it's locked, it functions as normal, but when it's unlocked, the character can be moved without having to move the body part, and when it's re-locked, it stays in its current position.

What you guys don't get is that you have to be part of Stevepocalypse to be made a skin.  You aren't on the list specified on the first post.

With the help of Photoshop, I combined my real life hobby (which is acting, not robbing a bank truck) with my Runescape character and my Minecraft character (made in Mine-imator, of course).  This is what I came up with.

 
I'm not gonna put this in my sig, though, since it's too big.

Agreed.  Plus, I rather like the current bending.  It allows for enhanced animations without disrupting the natural blockiness of Minecraft.

Biggest reason being that Game Maker, which is what Mine-imator is coded in, does not allow for the actual bending of vectors, and therefore cannot bend smoothly.  The current bending is not actually bending the shape, but rather the arm is made of two separate blocks.  I'm sure using a ton of little blocks, it could work, but it would likely be MASSIVELY CPU intensive, or at least too much for Game Maker to handle.
 
My second reason being that Minecraft is naturally blocky.  Sharp bending allows for better quality animations without disrupting the natural blockiness of Minecraft.
 
As I said in the last post I saw about this, be happy you have bending at all.

Swords are great. So, why not have more. I spent a while on these, and they're all a bit unique. They all have a name, which I'll add at some point.

Back in Mine-imator Beta v.0.4, an idea was born in my head. 
 
Stevepocalypse. 
 

 
It was made in simpler times. Less arm bending, less mobs.
 
Then, in version 0.5.2, I realized its potential.
 

 
After that, I think I fell asleep and forgot to save the rest of the trailer.
 
Piss.
 
Now, beginning in version 0.6.2 of Mine-imator, Stevepocalypse is returning. 
 
The Story: Rebels along the borders of Minecraftia are beginning to make a hole in Notch's army. Notch genetically engineers 11 super-mobs to take down the rebels and sends them to attack. But it isn't enough. The rebels still have an inter-dimensional stronghold between the Nether and the Overworld. Notch sends his super-mobs, but they fail. His last resort is a secret project that he has been keeping since infdev...
 
The Steve virus.
 

 
Upon contact with any sentient being, the Steve virus will assimilate the person or mob into a Steve, much like the Flood of Halo.
 
Notch knew the consequences would be great. He continued the spread of the virus anyway.
 
With the rebel threat almost eliminated, Notch commanded Jeb to shut down the virus.
 
No response. 
 
Now, the virus is out there. Hunting and preying on living beings. Soon it will gain enough strength to invade Minecraftia... 
 
This is where our story begins.
