(Idfk what to do. Aris was always your thing xD) Nicole would grab Evelyn form ice around her, freezing her and putting her in some sort of stasis. It slows the ink down. She'd then shadow-walk above ground, figuring she could get better help up there.

Nicole would drop the last few feet and and land next to her little ball of light. She'd pick it up and hold it high, looking around for Evelyn. She spots her farther away, with an ink like substance spreading from her arm. Nicole would run over and skid to her knees next to Evelyn. She looks up and around, trying to figure out what to do, how to stop the ink.

(XD Ember, what am I dealing with?)

(Okay) As Nicole climbs down the now revealed hole, she looks for a sign of what she may be dealing with.

Nicole gets a bad feeling and breaks cover, running for the hole Evelyn fell into. She bites her lip before climbing down into the hole. She tosses an enchanted ball down, which glows so she can see.

(Ember, should I go help Evelyn? Or do you want me to leave it)

Nicole watches Nyx kill the mage with disgust. She ignores it, and continues to watch them from the shadows. She doesn't want them to know she's there, but also doesn't want them to face a strong forbidden mage without help.

Spotting Nyx, Nicole swiftly hides. She watches carefully, prepared to step in if needed. She pulls Fray into the shadows next to her and puts her finger to her lips to shush his questions.

Nicole moves quickly, following her compass to Nyx. She hears something up ahead and carefully edges forewards. The sun is almost directly above them, testament to how long they've traveled. Finally, Nicole spots the other crew.

Nicole unhooks her sword as she lands on the island. Just touched the island by stepping onto it sends shivers up her spine. She shrugs it off and starts walking. "Come on, it's not safe on the beach," she whisper-shouts.

A pirate shouts from outside. "Land!" Nicole stands quickly, checking her compass, and runs above deck. She sees the sun rising, night having ended. She sees the first bit of the forbidden land. "Prepare a landing party, of myself, Ryder, and three of our best fighters. The rest of you stay on the ship and keep away from that island!" she commands. She moves to her quaters and grabs her sword and a few other weapons, as well as a few gadgets, including blowdarts to freeze elements and knock people out. "

"I'm sorry, Fray," Nicole says. "I wish I had better news for you."

"If he is, he probably won't be alive," Nicole says hesitantly. "That island is where they send mages who used forbidden magic. Or those who went Nova..."

(Its an old fairy tale book xP) "A stupid fairy tale made by the nature kingdom. Some legend plant that no one knows where it is. I know..." Nicole looks guilty. "There's a powerful aura on the island. No one has ever returned from the banished kingdom. Its the only place greedy mages haven't searched." She sighs. "Of course there's someone stupid enough to look on that island for it."

"They'll be slaughtered unless they know forbidden magic... or the ability and state of mind," Nicole says, thinking. She bites her lip, but knows what she's going to do. A sliver of her old self that has yet to be tainted. She would save her enemy.

Nicole traces her finger to a large island. She hisses a curse, but knows that is the only thing southeast of her. "The Banished Kingdom. How much of a fool can they be for heading there?!" she says angrily. She remembers something she read about the banished kingdom. "Unless..." she mutters. She quickly pulls out an ancient looking book and opens it. "They must be looking for the legend plant..."

Nicole leads her crew toward the southeast, where her compass is leading them. She pulls out a map. "Where could you be?" she mutters. She guesses about where she is, then traces a finger southeast.

(Wait there's a banished kingdom? I never knew that was a thing. In that case, Y'ALL ARE GONNA DIE BECAUSE BANISHED MAGES TYPICALLY WERE BANISHED FOR USING FORBIDDEN MAGIC)

Lilith feels a small amount of her magic get ripped away, like a very small chunk of hair getting pulled out. Nicole was careful to only use the demonic magic with forbidden enchants. Doesn't have to be fun, sweetheart, Nicole sneers back. She pours the now enchanted blood into a compass looking thing, and watches it point to southeast. She smiles and walks back out. "All right crew, we're heading southeast!" she shouts. (I actually forget where you are and what you're doing Ember xD)
