I know several people have done some great music videos with Mineimator. about all that is unique with mine is that I wrote and sang the song. This is being done for fun and lots of people are doing Harlem Shake etc. so it seemed most fun to do my own sillyness. This is the original short posted 2/3/13 won't say it was the first MInemator music video, but it was definitely one of the early ones. Hi guys, have not had a chance to do a lets play lately due to real life and its hassles. So I thought I would upload the work in process of the full minecraft life video I am doing in minimator. When i uploaded the first version of this song as a short many people asked me to take it further. (I suggest head phones - the volume is a bit low) This video is a homage to four things; Minecraft, Mine-imator, the Hannah Barbera musical cartoons I grew up with in the 70's and the music videos I watched in the 80's. Prior to starting work on my series Cubed Chronicles, I needed to wade chest deep through both Mine-imator and After Effects With little or no experience with them. thanks man , what do you think is the first thing Dul should see when he opens his eyes for the first time in minecraft... a pig, a sheep, or a cow? Curious what people think. :huh: What I hope to do is make it a choose your own adventure, where at the end of the episode there is a vote by comment on what comes next, I tally up and then I make the next episode... could be a nervous breakdown in the making lol! To see more of your timeline collection: Bring your mouse pointer down to the top edge of the timeline display window, when the cursor changes to an up and down arrow, left click and drag the edge of the timeline panel upwards. this will expose more of the channels in the timeline. Your animation display window will resize as well However there should be a scroll bar at the right side of the timeline window as well.

Hi guys, This video shows how to add the upper leg armor and (if your skin has them) gauntlets to your character using Toumouniek's method as shown in his forum entry, this set up allows use of limb bending in your animations when you have components on both shoulder and fist, - upper and lower leg Sorry Toumouniek, i was half awake when I edited this and so the title in the video says Tutorial Guy method. I made sure and clarify that mistake on the info here and on you tube so you get proper credit.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XJfCpVmqw6Q After some hard searching in the textures, it appears that the artifact is actually the upper portion of the front view of the boot. same sort of deal with the elbow artifact. i am certain these artifacts appear as a result of the method David used to adjust the textures when the limbs bend. thus i have not been able to find a way to eliminate this artifact. I think the only way to do so is in the code itself with a change in how the texture adapts during the bend (hint-hint David lol)

Please do, that's the entire point here, to find the easiest way to do this! i find my self missing some of my photoshop commands lol The ability to reselect the keyframes or a means to group them together so selecting one selects all in a linked set would make this kind of animating much easier. When you add any item or character it occupies the entire time, so you can add in armor at any time, you just turn on or off its visibility. I am playing around with using a combination of the two methods of armoring. For instance using the multi character / alpha approach for the legs a set of gauntlets and then using the linked keyframing for the rest etc. i am still playing with it and so far cannot find a way to change scales in the full arm armor (shoulder and gloves) and get perfect bends. I still need to tweak between frame with any method. Will be posting a 3rd vid with my research soon.
