Once you've clicked lock to parent, I've found two other ways. First, if you make a key frame for the item, then go under the positions tab. There is a green area showing the position. Right click anywhere on this green area and choose reset position. This should bring your item to the parent. Or, you can make a key frame for the item, and (in the same area described above) under the positions tab, in the bottom right corner of the green area, are two buttons (jump to camera and toggle snapping). Click on the left box labeled jump to camera and your item appears where you are currently looking. This method is not as accurate as the first one I mentioned.

I completely agree with Dilectus. That is exactly what I was going to suggest. With a snap option, time can be saved so you don't have to change your camera angle 10 times to make sure that something is close enough it touches but not so far that there is a gap. All it needs to be is a snap option to allow the surface of one object "snap" to another surface.

I've been trying to download mine-imator for over a week now. I click the big "download here" button, wait the 5 seconds to "skip ad", and something downloads to my computer. The computer knows it's a zip file because it comes up, when I save it, that I'm saving it as a zip(compressed) file. And under properties, it says the file type is zip. But when downloaded to my desktop, or any other folder in my computer, the icon for what was downloaded is like an internet explorer shortcut icon, not a zip file icon. When I right click the file, I can't extract anything. WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!? PS. I have windows vista and I'm downloading through google chrome, if that makes any difference (I did try it in internet explorer and it still didn't work). Your help is much appreciated.
