Dang-it! I searched last night for this exact thing and couldn't find it. So I wound up writing an extract program too. Then I find this topic in 1 minute on the forum. Oh well.

This was happening to me me as well. I tried re-installing, deleting the settings file, etc. to no avail. There was a suggestion to update the video card drivers. I tried to upgrade the drivers through device management but it reported they were already current. Then another post suggested downloading video drivers from the computer manufacturer. Mine is a Dell so I downloaded the video drivers from their site and that fixed the problem. So if you're on a laptop and having this problem, make sure your laptop is current will all manufacturer's drivers then try Mineimator again.
