Question

Hello! I just started using Mineimator a few weeks ago and I’ve realized after watching some tutorials that it appears as though I am missing some tabs. The first thing I noticed in a tutorial is that when clicking on a rig, the creator had a tab called an “appearance” tab under the “object info” and “hierarchy” tabs. I don’t have that tab available. I can only click on hierarchy to change parenting settings and I can change the name of the rig. I am also missing custom rotation points, so I literally just can’t change where my pivot points are. There are also no tabs when clicking on the crafting table for model bench or environment.

I am sure that I’m missing other things too, but those are just the ones I’ve noticed. If anyone can help me, please leave a reply on how I can fix this!

In Mine-imator 2.0, there's a simple and advanced mode that wasn't there previously. Go to the start menu, click the text next to the big title at the top that says "TRIAL version" or something similar and you should see instructions on how to activate the program. Then, you can load a project and activate advanced mode by clicking a text at the top of the screen saying "simple mode" or something similar(sorry, haven't used the software in a few months).

Then, you also need to know that the UI has been rearranged after the latest Mine-imator update 2.0, the tutorials you're watching were probably made for an earlier version of the program. You'll have to figure out where all the settings are now in the new ui.
