theres a little file on the top right corner with a  "+" click that and then click on the file that you want.

 here is the present file. in upper left hand corner press the file with the + icon. Then select the image and press open. click the crafting table and select the chest icon  then click on choose texture and hit browse. then choose the image and open it. finally, hit create and move the block where you want. i hope this helps.
