How Do I Lip-Sync?

I am starting a Minecraft Parody using Mine-inator, and I was wondering how do you animate the mouth to appear to be moving. I know the record the face while singing to get the movements, but then how do I animate it onto the character's face?

Alright, is this the same kind of rig as the fingers that CaptainSparklez used?

If so, can someone explain how to make a finger rig and mouth movement rigs?

Also, can you make like elbow and knee joints?

Besides, I want to create a Minecraft Animation Parody with this software, I don't care if the rigs are hard; if it makes the video result better then I'm going for it!
Also, I need a really good singer to do the vocals (Sounds similar to will.i.am's voice) if anyone sees this!

How about when the main character says "Ohhh" or something like that and his lips get all close into a small circle... How would you rig that? Same thing with fingers?

Rigging isnt as simple as it seems.

Lip syncing isn't as simple as it seems either.

 

Id recommend downloading someones facial/lip rig and using that.
Also, Using a Facial rig isnt as simple as 1,2 and 3 if its an advanced rig.

There are numerous parts that you have to move.


Another thing if your gonna be lip syncing. Getting the rendering Right. When you export, the playback will be faster then the actaul Playback in mine-imator.

 

There are formulas for this though.

In conclusion, Id recommend you getting to know how to use a Facial/Mouth Rig and Learning an easy way to get rendering right. If you can smash those 2, then lip syncing wont be as hard.
