Create a keyframe at the beginning of the animation, and under the Keyframe tab, uncheck the box that says 'Visible'.

Then go to where you want it to appear (in this case, at the 35 second mark), and check that box again. 

Go to where you want the text to disappear (the 38 second mark), and uncheck that again. 

And there you go. Should work perfectly.

You have to make the text invisible at the beginning of the animation in one keyframe, have it stop being invisible at the time you want it in another, then make it be invisible again in a third keyframe.
