Parented objects disappear?

This is so frustrating when I need to organise my items on mine-imator... Every time I go to parent an object to another, or put selected items into a folder, those selected things disappear. I've tried clicking the 'visible' box too, but they're still invisible.

I left it for a while, and then thought by installing the latest version it would sort it out, but it hasn't .. :/

Help??

try setting your parented object's xyz to 0

Yeah make sure the co-ordinates are all set to 0.

It didn't work in the previous version when I tried it, but it has worked now... thanks!
