black screen instead of animation

I tried making 3 animations, one of which I uploaded to youtube, but all three show a black screen instead of the animation.

I didn't mini-mize the window or anything while it the animation was being turned into a AVI. file.

any one know whats up with my animations?

Try saving it with another codec. I can't recommend any though, because which work well and which do not seems to vary a lot for different computers.

Try using a different codec. I use Microsoft Video 1.

Experiment with different codec's. Eventually, you will find a working codec

it still comes out as a black screen.

im starting to think theres a problem with these codecs, seeing as how I noticed this isn't the only "black screen" topic on this fourm....

guess I should have checked to see if anyoneels had this problem before posting
