Noob question on shapes

So I have had this program for a short while and I have been trying to figure out how to place shapes (Like spheres) into the animations, but I cant find them or any tutorials involving shapes...

Where are shapes located and how do you place them?

Yes I understand this is a noob question and I'm probably incredibly blind and missing something plainly obvious...

Well, they are only in the 1.0.0 demo's, so first make sure thats what you got. Then, if so, once you click the crafting table in the top left, they are closer to the bottom of it all. Hope that helps!
