Depends on the person. And it depends on how you use it. Personally I say yes because it makes high quality animating easier at the cost of faster speeds smaller timelines etc.

No. 1.0.0 is horrible. Who wants shadows, more mobs, and horrible stuff that actually makes an animation look good? Just use 0.6.2. It's way better.

JK 1.0.0 is awesome. If you don't have it, you should get it. There are a few bugs, but overall the end product looks much better.
