Can't Download Mine-imator

I've been trying to download mine-imator for over a week now.  

 

I click the big "download here" button, wait the 5 seconds to "skip ad", and something downloads to my computer.  The computer knows it's a zip file because it comes up, when I save it, that I'm saving it as a zip(compressed) file.  And under properties, it says the file type is zip.  

 

But when downloaded to my desktop, or any other folder in my computer, the icon for what was downloaded is like an internet explorer shortcut icon, not a zip file icon.  When I right click the file, I can't extract anything.

 

WHAT AM I DOING WRONG!?!?

 

PS. I have windows vista and I'm downloading through google chrome, if that makes any difference (I did try it in internet explorer and it still didn't work).

Get WinRAR or 7-Zip. They're easy to download and you can extract Mine-imator onto your desktop and into a new folder.

Thanks so much.  I don't know why no one makes a big deal about having a program like these.  I used 7-zip and it worked.  Thanks again I'm happily animating now!

i downloaded it via google chrome and nothing wrong happend,

chrome is fine.

just open it with winrar or 7zip (i use winrar).

You probably changed the programm to open the ZIP to Internet Explorer accidently.
