Playback very low quality & Uber duper fast. What to do? [1.0.0]

Hello,

 

I've downloaded Mine-imator a couple of days ago, the 1.0.0 version that is.
I used to have an earlier version on my laptop, which worked fine, but I simply can't figure out how to render my videos with 1.0.0!

 

When I am done saving it as an *.avi this happens:

 

1. My video is very blurry with very low poor quality.

2. The playback speed is insane. I know this has to do with the tempo and all I use when making my animation, but I can't seem to be able to figure it out..

 

 

I am using a brand new Acer Aspire E1-731, windows 8.
The render settings ingame have all been put on 'Very High'.

 

Anyone knows a solution to this? I'd be so grateful, because I love the 1.0.0 already..!

when you have the option 'Save' and 'Advanced' click advanced and select a codec then put compression down to 5% for pretty good quality (or 40% if you care about hard drive space)

For the tempo click the arrow near 'Project and slide tempo down
