Problems with installing rigs

I have had problems installing rigs because im trying to get a blaze rig that's not in a rig pack and i'm following the instructions that say how to download rigs on the forum, when i downloaded the rig its a .rar and not a .mani so i cant upload it can you help?

Use a file de-archiver program like 7-zip to open the .rar and get the mani out. A .rar file is basically a different type of .zip.

so its actually just like a folder?

...I suppose so. It's like a folder compressed into a single file.
