Texture Packs and New Items

Hello. I just recently downloaded this (amazing) program. I do have a question though. I searched through the help section and a topic mentioned editing the terrain.png for new textures (as one would do in normal minecraft), but I cannot find the terrain.png in the files. Also, if I do change the texture pack, and say I changed a sword to a scythe, will the model change to reflect that, as in applying the new shape?

Any help on where the terrain.png is located?

press the windows button on your keyboard and type %appdata% then go to minecraft then bin, then u need to open the minecraft.jar file with winrar

 

(winrar just google it and download it ) then scroll down until u see terrain .png 

to edit it u can only use photo editing software that uses see-through textures

Okay, I did not realize it pulled straight from the minecraft file. Thanks.
