  1. Many of us know about how we want the ability to change the pitch of our sounds, but you may be wondering "isn't speed and tempo the same deal?". Well actually in terms of sound recording, no it's not the same. Let me explain each one: Pitch/Speed-Probrably the most needed of the needy compared to the other three, the ability to change the pitch of the sound will increase the speed or decrease the speed depending on high or low the pitch is. Kinda think of it in terms of tiiiimee sloowiiiing dooown and eeeverything is low pitch like. Or when it's speed up everything is very highpitch and annoying Tempo-Tempo is what would be a nice addition, you may think of tempo in the music area. The higher the tempo, the faster the music is, but the pitch of it doesn't go up, it stays the same. It's just like the feature Youtube has for video for the playback speed (it should be tempo, but yeeah) when you set the speed to 2x, the audio is really fast and the pitch stays the same. and when the speed is slow you get the weird stu-u-u-tter eff-ect bu-t t-the pi-itch stays the same. I would like a Pitch/Speed and a Tempo addition to the sound system, it would be nice to build upon it. The pitch system should be similar to Minecrafts system, a maximum of 2x pitch and a minimum of .5 pitch. We can go between those key values so it provides plenty of room. For tempo, any high amount of speed and low amount of speed. (Imagine combining the two!) I only say this because many sound effects I have, the pitches in-game are lower in pitch than in the file itself. So it's a tad bit annoying with sounds that are high pitch that should be lower pitch *looks at super mario 64 sounds* "YEAH YOU, I MEAN YOU" *shuns folder*
  2. Hi guys, I'm hoping you can help me with a bit of a problem I'm having. I'm a total noob to animating, mine-imator and all that, and I'm trying to create a video for my 6 year old son who just adores minecraft, and all the little shows we watch on youtube together. Don't ask how many times I've sat through the Creeper Rap and the entire Elements Animation back catalogue... Anyway, I helped him create a scenario/story, and for the last week I've been trying to animate it for him. I've got 340 frames, which I figure gives me a 30 fps movie with tempo 11, for 11 seconds of movie. (Dammit, is that all for a weeks work?) What I don't know, is how to judge the pace of the movie. I've been working on 5 frame chunks, so I place a character or item, and then I move it to the next location 5 frames later. This allows me to smooth out any cllipping etc in the spare frames. The only thing I don't know how to work out (and importantly, how to correct it if it is wrong), is knowing how much I've moved the character in that five frames or 1/6 of a second. I guess experienced animators can judge it by eye, but I need help to learn how much to move the character every 5 frames so that it looks realistic/reasonable/acceptable/not stupid (delete as applicable). Any help with this would be greatly appreciated. If it helps, I can render and upload the avi file if someone wants to look at it. Every time I run it using the play button, it just seems to zip through too quickly. I'm using Demo 1.0 number 5 I think. Thanks in advance.
  3. You know how you have the basic tempo? My idea is that every [Humanoid] has their own tempo. Because for a music video I'm making, I need some matrix designs for a desert scene. Also, It'd be cool if you could add a tempo in the crafting table thingy so you can change the speed of things during the animation.
  4. when you have set the tempo to 15 then you render the video it then set the tempo to about 30 in the finished video Plz help
