I made an another image in paint.NET for the community and David.

This picture is with the Mine-Imator Model Creator from the future (unofficial).

Now david , you can make a idea about the design of the official model creator.

This is cool, I know this doesnt happen in the manga but maybe you could put the clones a bit transparent so the viewer knows whos the real naruto 

Or he could make the clones colored differently with the overlay. 

But I like your idea too.
